Heralded in 1888, Auckland Art Gallery remains the largest art institution in New Zealand, with a collection numbering over 12,500 works. These include major historic, modern and contemporary art plus outstanding works by Māori and Pacific Island artists, as well as European painting, sculpture and prints.

Welcome to a kingdom of arts and entertainment. It broadens one's horizons and indulges in fantasies. It mingles, inspires, educates and stimulates. The Auckland Art Gallery is thrilled to be working with the Arts Foundation of New Zealand on Tribute. Featuring works by Edgar Degas, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Paul Nash, Henry Moore and others, this exhibition looks at works from the Gallery's collection of European art.

The public programmes take many formats - informal discussions, performances, regular workshops for children, lectures, exhibition walkthroughs, readings, demonstrations, seminars, forums and concert recitals. The gallery shop offers a new range of reproductions of some most popular works from the gallery's permanent collection.

Museum Hours: Open daily 10.00am- 5.00pm, except for Christmas Day and Easter Friday.
