Welcome to The New Zealand National Maritime Museum which houses the nation's treasure. It is one of the finest in the world. It has an amazing collection of models and artifacts. The maritime heritage is rich with tales of exploration, discovery, design and success.

There are over 14 Main Exhibition Galleries. A varied and interesting education programme, both on and off the water. A unique conference and functions centre, 'The Maritime Room' with unsurpassed sea views. Fun school holiday programmes for children. All events at the Maritime will work with you to create a successful and memorable occasion.

The Museum Galleries provide a unique and special environment in which to entertain. Each gallery is individual in structure and theme. Yet, for larger events, they flow in to one another seamlessly. It commits to create masterful performances. Avail the expertise and experience to avoid the many pitfalls in organizing an event.

Museum Hours: Open every day except Christmas Day. 9am - 6pm Summer (October - April) 9am - 5pm Winter.
