The University of Auckland is the largest existing New Zealand university at present. As a New Zealand university, the University of Auckland occupies more than six campuses which is pretty good since it was only founded in 1883. As of April 2006, the University of Auckland had over 39,000 students enrolled at its campuses, meaning it is quite a popular New Zealand university. Some types of courses you could enroll in here are Food and Wine Science, Creative and Performing Arts, Teacher Training and Special Education, Fine and Visual Arts, Architecture, Information Management, Optometry, Pharmacy, Law, and Property, among others.
