The Classic Comedy

The Classic Comedy is a world class home of live comedy. It features local and international guest acts.

This fulltime professional comedy club was opened in October 1997 and has risen to become a well- known institution on the local entertainment scene. The original design and layout of the Classic is based on some of the most successful clubs in the USA and the UK. The international acts that have played at The Classic have had nothing but praise for the atmosphere and audiences.

The Classic Venue room can accommodate 140 people in comfortable cabaret- style seating. There are two licensed bars offering a wide range of refreshments. The Classic provides simple bar food, such as pizza slices and bread and dip platters.

The theatre has 24 channel Nova Lighting Des, 3 x 1K 200M Zoom Spots, 10 channel Dimmer Packs (2Kw max in each Dimmer)
5 x Mirrorball. Sound Craft Spirit Folio 16.2 Mixing Desk, Carver Professional PM 1400 Amplifier, 2 x Renkus- Heinz M Series Speakers, CD Player, 3 Mikes and 4 Stands.

Happy Hour in the Front Bar from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Showtime from 8pm to 10:30pm.
